Gratitude Is the Wish You Grant Yourself

Thanksgiving has always been the traditional time to be thankful… but what does that really mean?
And why only at Thanksgiving?
Most folks walk around taking things for granted — running water, warm beds, working legs, a roof that doesn’t leak. Simple things someone else out there would give anything to have.
And the Universe? Oh, she notices. In her world, like attracts like, and gratitude is a magnet for more blessings.
The Nine of Cups is known as the “wish card,” but people miss the real message: this card isn’t just about getting what you want — it’s about recognizing the goodness you already have.
This guy sits like a king in front of his banquet table, cups lined up like little trophies of emotional fulfillment. Everything he has, he’s proud of… and he’s ready to share it. That’s the secret sauce of the Nine of Cups — joy becomes abundance the second you offer it with an open hand.
And let me tell you, I’m a big believer in gratitude.
This past month knocked me to my knees — losing my heart dog and one of my cats tore me up in ways I didn’t expect. My heart was broken, my wallet took a hit, and it felt like the world was collapsing… but people stepped in. They helped. They cared. And every time I think about it, gratitude fills me right back up.
Gratitude is magic. Real magic. It lifted me in a moment when nothing else could.
When your heart swells with gratitude, you can’t hold fear, anger, or lack at the same time. The vibration just won’t allow it.
Gratitude is the most powerful spell there is.
So here’s my challenge to you:
For 30 days, write down three things you’re grateful for — and make them different every single day.
You’ll start hunting for blessings everywhere you go. You’ll notice beauty hiding in plain sight. And before long? Just like magic… your world is overflowing.
Let me know how it goes, my love. I really want to hear.
