Let’s talk about the Seven of Wands—a card that screams “Don’t mess with me!” but underneath that warrior stance… there’s a whole lot more going on.

Picture this: someone standing on top of a hill, feet planted wide, ready to defend what’s theirs. They’ve got the high ground. They should feel powerful. But they’ve only got one shoe tied, like they had to jump into this fight before they were even fully dressed. Sound familiar?

This card shows up when you're defending your position—your job, your relationship, your success, your truth. Maybe you’ve clawed your way to the top. Maybe you finally got that recognition, that promotion, that validation. But now? You’re stuck in constant defense mode, afraid someone’s going to take it from you.

But here’s the thing: those wands below? They don’t even look that threatening. So why are you so hyper-vigilant?

Because when you’ve had to hustle, fight, or push to get what you have, part of you still believes you could lose it all in an instant. It’s exhausting, isn’t it?

The Seven of Wands asks you to pause and take stock. Not just of what you’ve achieved—but how you got there. Did you burn yourself out trying to prove you were worthy? Did you cut ties, push people away, or silence parts of yourself just to climb that hill?

And listen,  I’m not here to judge. I’m here to say: it’s okay to ask whether the hill you’re defending is still worth it.

Sometimes we chase goals that aren’t even aligned with who we are anymore. We fight to stay on top out of fear, not passion. And we end up defending a mountain just because we think we have to.

But, check it out—this card also shows you as a giant. Look closely: you’re straddling hilltops. That’s not ordinary human energy. That’s divine, bigger-than-life, badass power. The question is: do you feel like a giant? Or are you still carrying the fear of being small?

The Seven of Wands is your invitation to check in with your energy. Are you defending from old wounds, or standing in present truth? Are you holding the line because it’s necessary, or because you’re scared of what happens if you let go?

You don’t have to stay in a fight you’ve already won. You don’t have to keep proving yourself to people who never saw you clearly in the first place.

Sometimes, the bravest thing you can do isn’t defending your position—it’s choosing peace instead of proving.

✨ Need clarity on what hill is truly yours to stand on?✨ Wondering if the energy you're spending is actually worth the cost?

Let’s talk. Book a reading with me, and we’ll dig deep into what’s really going on. The cards always reveal what your soul already knows—it’s time to listen and reclaim your power.
