The Star- Hope when you need it most.

I lost my heart dog on October 28th.
Magic was 13 years old, and I knew it would come soon. That was a ripe old age for a German Shepherd, but she was feisty til the end.
I knew it was coming, but I wasn’t ready, and when she took her last breath it felt like my heart was being ripped from my body.
Grief is a funny thing, it comes in waves. One moment you’re fine, and the next something triggers that vast searing and tearing that renders you undone in places you didn’t know could break. And for a moment you can’t breathe.
I turn to the Universe when I feel this way. She has always had my back and has never let me down. She speaks to me in many ways, but when I specifically need to hear her, I turn to my cards.
She showed me The Star.
With that card, she asked me to trust her; that even though the world seems like it’s coming to an end, she’s got me. There are blessings here, even though I don’t see them now. She asked me to have faith.
It’s interesting that this is the card she offered. It comes right after The Tower, which indicates that your life is being blown up in order to make room for the blessings.
I don’t see them now, but I trust they will come, and I’m ready.
If you’re going through a Tower moment, I get it. Reach out for a reading and together we will find your blessings, too.
RIP my silly poodle
